It's a good idea to have a look at the HETAS website.
If a fitter/shop claims to be HETAS registered then check in their find an installer section.
Building Regulations
If you install yourself, or use a non-HETAS installer, the building control department of your local council will need to inspect the work.

Chimney Sweeping
